A Wintry Wedding Day!

On January 9, 2010 we had the honor of helping a wonderful couple pull their wedding together.

It was supposed to be a warm, sunny Central Florida day. Pictures on the beach and then the church. Not! It was raining and cold enough for snow flurries!

Karen had told me back in 2008 that she wanted me to be her wedding planner, I thought she was being polite. When I got her email that she really wanted me, I was honored to be a part of her day.

Karen's vision for colors of red and white and white Calla Lilies started to come true when I began to conact some of the best wedding professionals that I know to help us pull her vision together.  Amanda's Florist, provided the most beautiful pilsner vases with white Calla Lilies in water for the centerprieces and beautiful rose bouquets.  Cakes for All Occasions, Kevin Radlein (DJ), Hayes Meats, YZ Photography, completed Nate and Karen's vision.

Guest were treated to a wonderful fare provided by Hayes Meats of Grilled Italian Chicken, Roast Beef, Garlic Parmesan salad, Caesar salad, and Scalloped Potatoes.  Linens provided by Bob O'Connell's.

The ceremony took place at East Coast Christian Center's Avenue Worship Center and performed by Pastor Chris Johnson, East Coast Christian Center Worship Pastor.

After the ceremony, guest were invited to hang in the lobby until the sanctuary was transformed into the reception area.
The cake, provided by Cakes for All Ocassions, was absolutely stunning and tasted wonderful! It captured the vision that Karen and Nate wanted!

When the Karen and Nate were introduced by the DJ Kevin Radelin, they were greeted with loud applause.  They were surprised during their first dance with a shower of bubbles!

Thank you Karen and Nate for allowing me to be a part of the first day of your lives together.

Warmest wishes
Maggie
